About Me
I’m a maker, designer, and researcher whose love of creating and genuine curiosity about people naturally converged in User Experience. I think of UX as the hospitality of design—an approach grounded in empathy, objectivity, and care for how people feel, move, and make sense of the systems they rely on. At its best, UX anticipates needs, removes friction, and helps people feel supported rather than overwhelmed.
Professionally, I’m a Senior UX Researcher and Strategist with deep experience leading early discovery and definition across complex, regulated digital products. I specialize in generative and formative research, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights, and translating findings into actionable strategies that shape product direction, capability planning, and roadmaps. I partner closely with product, engineering, design, and business leaders to ground decisions in validated user insights—whether that means facilitating field interviews and stakeholder workshops, developing journey maps and service blueprints, or helping teams navigate ambiguity toward clear, confident outcomes.
I bring warm energy to my work and a collaborative, pragmatic mindset. I’m known for asking thoughtful questions, connecting dots others might miss, and offering clever, human-centered solutions that balance user needs with real-world constraints. I also leverage modern research and synthesis tools—including Marvin and AI-assisted workflows—to accelerate insight generation without losing nuance or rigor.
Outside of work, I’m fueled by curiosity and creativity. I’m always seeking new culinary experiences and meaningful conversations, and I take pride in making something out of nothing. My creative practice spans crochet, sewing, drawing, painting, cross-stitch, weaving, and photography. And when I’m not at my desk, there’s a good chance I’ve wandered into the woods—resetting, observing, and gathering inspiration for the next problem worth solving.
Skills
-
UX research is at the core of how I design. I lead and execute research to understand how real people navigate systems, make decisions, and experience friction. My work includes user interviews, moderated and unmoderated usability testing, tree testing, and card sorting to evaluate both usability and information findability.
I regularly combine qualitative insights (what people say, do, and struggle with) with quantitative signals (task success, error rates, behavioral patterns) to build a holistic view of the user experience. I’m especially focused on synthesis—turning raw research into clear themes, prioritized insights, and actionable recommendations that teams can confidently design and build from.
Highlighted User Research Skills
End-to-end research planning & execution: Designing studies, recruiting participants, moderating sessions, and analyzing results across discovery and validation phases.
Mixed-methods research: Combining qualitative insights with quantitative signals to build a complete understanding of user needs and behaviors.
Usability & findability testing: Conducting moderated and unmoderated usability tests, tree testing, and card sorting to evaluate clarity, navigation, and task success.
Insight synthesis & storytelling: Translating complex findings into clear narratives, visuals, and recommendations that resonate with stakeholders and drive action.
Stakeholder-facing research communication: Presenting findings, facilitating research readouts, and helping teams align around evidence-based decisions.

User experience is the foundation of my work and the lens through which I approach every project. I focus on designing experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and grounded in real user needs—especially within complex, enterprise, and regulated environments. My approach balances thoughtful research, clear interaction design, and practical constraints to ensure solutions are both usable and scalable.
I pay close attention to how people move through systems, where confusion or friction arises, and how design decisions impact efficiency and confidence. Whether I’m designing customer-facing experiences or internal tools for agents and administrators, my goal is always the same: reduce cognitive load, support meaningful tasks, and create experiences that feel clear, supportive, and intentional.
Highlighted UX skills include:
Experience design for complex and enterprise systems: Designing intuitive workflows for internal tools, admin platforms, and data-heavy experiences where clarity and efficiency are critical.
Research-driven decision making: Advocating for user insights at every stage of the product lifecycle, from early discovery through post-launch evaluation.
Design systems & governance: Supporting consistency and scalability by contributing to component libraries, usage guidelines, and shared design standards.

I use design artifacts as tools for thinking and collaboration. Through wireframes and interactive prototypes, I explore complex workflows, test ideas early, and communicate design intent clearly to both technical and non-technical partners.
Prototyping allows me to validate concepts with users, gather feedback quickly, and reduce risk before development begins. I focus on creating just enough fidelity to support the decision at hand—whether that’s aligning on structure, testing usability, or demonstrating an end-to-end experience to stakeholders.
-
I specialize in early discovery and experience definition, helping teams move from assumptions to clarity. I translate research findings into journey maps, task flows, and behavioral archetypes that make user needs tangible and shared across teams.
This work helps identify gaps in the experience, clarify moments of confusion or breakdown, and align stakeholders around a common understanding of the user. By grounding strategy in real behaviors and constraints, I help ensure the experiences we design are intentional, cohesive, and rooted in how people actually interact with products and services.
-
I approach design with a systems mindset, balancing individual user needs with long-term scalability. I have extensive experience shaping information architecture, defining reusable patterns, and contributing to component libraries that support consistency across products.
By designing within systems—and helping evolve them—I ensure experiences feel cohesive while remaining flexible enough to adapt as products grow. This approach reduces rework, improves usability, and enables teams to design and ship more efficiently over time.
-
I believe strong collaboration is essential to delivering meaningful user experiences. I work closely with product managers, engineers, content strategists, researchers, and business stakeholders to align goals, share insights, and move work forward.
I’m comfortable facilitating conversations, presenting research findings, and translating user needs into practical design decisions. Whether working in Agile environments or across multiple teams, I focus on clarity, momentum, and shared ownership throughout the design and delivery process.

I use tools as enablers, not drivers, and select them based on the problem I’m solving. I work daily in Figma and FigJam for design, prototyping, and collaboration, and use Marvin to synthesize qualitative research at scale.
I incorporate AI-assisted research tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini to accelerate analysis, support synthesis, and explore patterns across datasets. I also use Optimal Workshop for information architecture testing, Qualtrics for survey design and analysis, and Google Analytics to ground design decisions in real user behavior.
